jazakallah lekin aisa to kahin hamne nahi padha hai aur iski daleel bhi apne nahi diThe Hadith referred to, is a good example how reading things out of context would be misleading.
It happened that a group of sahaba 'companions' where invited for a feast in somebodies home. They were all served camel meat, which is halal. Later they all attended Friday prayer. During the Khutba, the prophet noticed that somebody has passed wind, and so he would be too embarrased to stand to renew his wadoo in front of the congregation. To save him the embarassment as well as saving his prayer not to be lost, the prophet commanded all who ate camel meat to renew their wadoo. obviously that man took advantage of this mass renewal of wadoo and escaped embarassment.
by time, the hadith became taken out of context and used by some as a prove that camel meat requires renewing wadoo.
kahir daleel ham apko dete hain
